Moin, I’m Maxi and I want to see the world :)

I’m 19 years old, graduated from high school in summer 2025 and come from near Hannover, Germany.

Since I was a kid, I’ve been sailing small dinghies (Opti) and later worked my way up to getting my SBF See license.

This summer I spent most of my time in the mountains – I’m a certified climbing instructor at the German Alpine Club and love being outdoors, whether it’s climbing, hiking, or sleeping under the stars.

Now it’s time to head out to sea and finally go on a big sailing trip – ideally an Atlantic crossing!

I’m motivated, physically fit, and not afraid of work – whether it’s cooking, cleaning, night shifts or maintenance. I’m used to simple living, I enjoy teamwork, and I learn fast.

Besides the outdoors, I’m also passionate about photography and filmmaking – I like to document my travels and could create photo or video content of the journey if wanted.

I speak fluent German and English, and a bit of Spanish.

Even though I’m still young, I bring enthusiasm, discipline, and a lot of curiosity to learn everything about life at sea.

If you’re looking for an easy-going, hard-working and positive crewmember for your next crossing – I’d be happy to join your crew!
