Looking for Transatlantic from Gibraltar

Hey i’m Paul! Currently backpacking through the world:) My goal is to use no airplane and still get around the whole world. I love to hitchhike and made my way from Germany to Morocco this way already. From here i will go back to Gibraltar to hopefully find a sailboat crew that I can join to cross the Atlantic Ocean to South America. It’s been a dream for a long time now to work on a sailboat in exchange for taking me on a trip.
I’m 20 years old and graduated from Gymnasium in summer 2024.
Before I started the Backpacking trip I worked as a Paramedic on an ambulance in Germany for a while. I have experiences in crafting and repairing mechanics.
I volunteered in some places so far wich I really enjoyed and would do again.
At home I cook a lot which I enjoy and have fun doing. I like to try new recipes.
When coming back i would like to start studying documentary filmmaking. I document my travels trough photography and films, which I could offer for the crossing as well.
Now it’s time to get a good sailing experience and learn what it means to live and travel on a boat for a while. Working hard and learning fast was and still is my daily business. While travelling i often sleep in my tent or hammock. So my living standards and expectations are not high and the simple life is really enjoyable for me.
